• Course has been tailor made to reflect the needs of schools and to produce good teachers with high levels of practical teaching skills
• Practical and taught elements of the course are strongly linked
• All trainees are given the opportunity to complete a Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) module
• Trainees conduct research in an area of special interest
• Partnership schools include infant, junior, primary, large, small, village, church-aided and pre-schools
• Teachers from the schools act as mentors, as training managers and deliver most of the training, providing a strong support network
• The schools have had experience in training and support for trainee teachers
